This privacy policy describes how AI Photo IQ (“the App”) handles your data.

AI Photo IQ does not collect, store, or transmit your personal data to us. All your data stays under your control in services you configure yourself.

Photos Link to heading
You select photos from your Apple Photos library using the system photo picker. The App only accesses photos you explicitly choose — it cannot browse or modify your Photos library. Selected photos are uploaded to your own Amazon S3 bucket using credentials you provide.
Metadata Link to heading
The App extracts and stores metadata about your photos in your own MongoDB Atlas database using a connection string you provide. This metadata includes system fields (file name, date taken, file size) and custom fields you define.
AI Analysis Link to heading
When you process a photo, its image data is sent to the Anthropic Claude API for vision analysis. This transmission uses your own Anthropic API key and is governed by Anthropic’s Usage Policy and Privacy Policy. We do not have access to your API key or the data exchanged between the App and Anthropic.
Credentials Link to heading
Your AWS access keys, MongoDB connection string, and Anthropic API key are stored exclusively in your macOS Keychain. They are never transmitted to TMD Ventures FL, LLC or any third party other than the services they authenticate to.
Local Storage Link to heading
The App stores your preferences (S3 bucket name, AWS region, export format, field definitions, AI prompt template) in macOS UserDefaults. This data stays on your device.
What We Do NOT Collect Link to heading
- No personal information (name, email, device ID)
- No usage analytics or telemetry
- No crash reports
- No advertising identifiers
- No location data
- No tracking of any kind
Third-Party Services Link to heading
The App connects only to services you configure:
